Pollination

Are you a local farmer in Northeast North Carolina who raises crops that require pollination?

Our honey bee colonies work various crops to include strawberries, fruit orchards, watermelon, cantaloups, cucumbers, squash and a wide variety of specialty crops that require pollination. We have honey bee colonies located throughout five counties and may be willing to help pollinate your crops in the future, regardless of the amount of acres that you manage.

Honeybees are some of the best pollinators because they are loyal to the flowers in bloom at that specific time.  They remain focused on that species of flower until it is no longer producing.  Providing managed honey bee colonies to crops can make a significant difference to your overall yield at harvest.  Crop pollination with the use of honey bees is an investment towards the future harvest.

Our hives can be contracted (leased) for pollination within the Northeast North Carolina area.  It is best to coordinate pollination services well in advance.  Most of our current farmers reserve their colonies for the following year upon the completion of the current season.

Location is key for all pollination agreements.  A personal farm visit will take place in order to serve your needs as well as access and safety of the bees. Prices vary depending on location, duration of contract and crops.

If pollination services are needed, please use the form below and someone will be in touch for future planning.
